Descripción

Fresh off the factory floor, titans of silly industry Josh and Matt watch a very silly, and very fascinating, movie called Hundreds of Beavers. Join them as they navigate the challenges of watching a black and white, silent film comedy in the modern day, and explore the silliness, brilliance, and surprising internal consistency of it. They then cap the episode off talking a little more about the ConformityGate conspiracy surrounding Stranger Things, and the legitimately strange things that suggests about the way some people express fandom. The Start of Matt's Virtual Astronaut Career, Thinkin' 'Bout Death, Having Kids is Weird

The whistle blows on another day on the factory floor, with Josh and Matt once again stroll casually through a variety of topics. They start off talking about how Starry hoodwinked us all, before turning to Matt's career as an astronaut in the game Re-Entry, which aims to be a 1:1 simulated recreation of prior lunar space exploration modules and ships. From there, they start to explore getting older, and specifically, whether or not you can think yourself to death, and how that becomes more possible the older you get.  Finally, they end off the episode talking about Josh's daughter's boyfriend (which he WAS eventually allowed to know about), and the challenge of guiding their kids through these moments. And in between all that, the normal silly BS transpires. Want to send us deranged hate mail? The Men Inside Our Men, Initial Spider-Noir Discussion, Nic Cage

Welcome back to the factory floor! After another unintentional hiatus, Matt and Josh come roaring back with....well, some meandering nonsense (which some might call the silliest of bullshits). Rather than prepare, this episode, the boys explore the men within themselves inspired by the quote from A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms that "within a man, there are many men". From there, they move to discussing the trailer for Spider-Noir (how topical, a month after it's release), and the phenomena of Nic Cage in general. Peppered throughout are all of the other asides you would expect from these 2 slackers. Hope people find something to enjoy in this one :P  Want to send us deranged hate mail? episode These Hills Should Have Stayed Silent artwork

These Hills Should Have Stayed Silent

In this very special episode, Matt takes an episode off, and instead, we are joined by Kel, a long-time friend of our hosts and a super great guy to boot. Kel and Josh have watched the movie Return to Silent Hill, and churn their thoughts through a High-Quality Silly Bullshit pressing machine. They explore their love of the series of games, laying out their appreciation for the sense of nuance, tension, and psychological dread they cause. Then, they launch into their thoughts about the movie and it's attempt to capture on the setting and success of the 2nd game in the series, and spoiler alert - it is TERRIBLE. Listen as their disappointment causes them to try to unravel key questions: How did they fail this bad, and why did this even get made? Want to send us deranged hate mail? T-shirt Mysteries, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 Wrap-up

Annnnnnndddd we're back folks. Sorry for the long absence, but in our defense, we've been pretty up-front about how inneffectual we are. Rolling out onto the factory floor is an opening discussion about Matt's closet clean-out find, which causes a meander through memory lane as they discuss what led to the t-shirt. From there, Josh and Matt move toward discussing the back half of Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, winding through exploring Egg and Dunc's relationship, the nuances of Dunc's trial by combat, and overall recapping their thoughts. The end on a discussion about the mis-steps they feel like the show makes, and exploring where those are coming from. Want to send us deranged hate mail? The Burger National Guard, Eggboy Jimbo Takes Shape, and Exploring the Realities of AI

After a break that can only be attributed to life being busy and a real lack of responsibility, a new dawn breaks on another day on the factory floor, and more high quality silly bullsh*t being spun! Strap in folks, this one is a real meander. In this episode, Matt and Josh talk about the sadness of local multiplayer co-op in video games being so rare now, which makes them both feel like grumpy old men. From there, they move into discussing how their should be a nationalized burger chain as a branch of the military. Finally, they wrap the episode by exploring the creative and professional implications of AI, and try to parse out where the value versus the shenanigans are. As stated in the beginning, real range in this one. Also explored: Josh's daughter's influencer attempt, game and movie ratings, and ideating around Eggboy Jimbo. Want to send us deranged hate mail?
