Rethinking x Reimagining Sustainable Design

In this episode, we are talking about all things design and architecture and we were lucky enough to get the tea from our good friend, Hope Pollonais. Hope is Trinidadian-born architect who currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She is known amongst most as the doctor of buildings. Her career has guided her into the world of Forensic Architecture where she is tasked to restore old buildings. We discuss her career as well as ways we can reimagine design that is better for the planet. We also go deeper into what is feasible in design when it comes to making green design decisions.

Jessica (Jessie) Wright is the SVP of Operations at Pinto, a company that is building the world’s smartest product data platform, with a mission of making product data fully personalized, transparent, and easily accessible for both consumers and businesses alike. Before working at Pinto, she studied Government at Harvard College and received her Master's in Food Studies at NYU. In her free time, you can find Jessie enjoying one of her many 1000+ piece puzzles, working out (she's a marathon runner y'all), or visiting her favorite bakeries.

In this episode, we are joined by Conor Delabanque. Conor is an athlete, husband and dog dad. His work life involves being a technology advocate for enterprise transformation and DevOps, where he consults with Fortune 500 companies, hosts his own DevOps podcast, speaks at industry-leading conferences, and writes articles for technology publications. Conor is British Antiguan and proudly represents his country of Antigua and Barbuda as the National Road Cycling Champion. He's also the former English University Boxing Champion. Alongside this, Conor is an advocate for increasing diversity and representation for People of Color in both technology and cycling, and actively supports this through a number of initiatives.
