BACKGROUND As an independent business services integrator (BSI), which is a program management office (PMO) function; ALJUCAR & Co. [www.aljucar.com] performs all of the necessary and traditional back-office business functions such as job cost accounting, contract/subcontract management, change management, internal/external performance reporting, compliance reporting, etc. of a normal populated business, while controlling and limiting the flow of proprietary data between the member firms of the JV.  In this episode VSBA Founder, and ALJUCAR & Co. Managing Principal, Rudy Sutherland, will discuss why the Unpopulated Joint Venture (U-JV) is our clients’ tool of choice for winning and managing federal contracts; and the preferred choice of corporate structures by most federal contracting officers over conventional JVs and Prim-Sub teaming arrangement.
