The Social Shift
This podcast explores new research by Kirsty Cameron and Jack Liuta, drawing on their work with migration. Kirsty’s research focuses on understanding experiences of antisocial behaviour and the related interventions, considering how intersecting identities and experiences of gender, migration, ethnicity, disability, and/or poverty can structure these experiences. Kirsty’s interest in this area was prompted by her background as a social housing practitioner.Find out more about Kirsty on her LBU profile [https://www.leedsbeckett.ac.uk/staff/dr-kirsty-cameron/]. Jack's research interests include, among other areas, participatory research with displaced populations and refugees across Africa and Europe. Over the last four years, he has been involved as a community researcher in migration research with various migrant communities in the Yorkshire and Humber region of the UK through Migration Yorkshire.
