The Reese Family: Part 2
The Reese Family: A Story of Resilience, Grace, and Detours
Part 1 of 2 As a response to the last 2 1/2 years, most of us have simply tried to move on or get our life back. The very idea of reflecting on these years might feel exhausting or painful. As a wise and dear friend recently told me: "The only way to heal from loss is to tell your story. Again and again and again and again until you are free." Friends, I am launching a series that will give men and women opportunities to share their stories. Instead of joining the rest of the world engulfed in a foolish and determined demand for life to be good again, we will explore the lesson and the hurt from the last 2 1/2 years. My hope is you will find freedom and strength from hearing other's story and courage to explore and share your own.
5 Strategies to Improve Relational Communication

A Tool for Deeper Emotional Connectedness
Giving ourselves the gift of feeling and expressing our emotions is something most of us were never taught. Some will go their whole life trying to hide, repress, and deny their emotions. What many of us forget, especially Christians, is that God gave us emotions. Jesus fully expressed and lived in his emotion. For us to become more wholehearted, we must begin to learn the practice of emotional awareness. If we listen curiously, we will discover that our emotions will help guide us towards what we need most. A Check-in is a great tool that we can begin to incorporate into our everyday life.
Creating Community
Do you ever wish that you had a deeper well of community? Everyone experiences relational wounding. Ironically, it is within community that we can also find healing. Mark Dunning shares with us the ways he's intentionally built a community that is built on love, safety, and growth. Will you join us?
