Meyers Brewing Company opened in 2021 in the Fishtown area of Philly and in a few short years has become part of the fabric of the trendy neighborhood. Owner Mike Meyers aims to bring the same sense of fun and community to the Jersey Shore with the soon to open Meyers Lighthouse Brewery and Mini Golf in Ocean View. Vic, Richard, and Tom took the trip down to Cape May County’s newest brewery to speak with Mike and head brewer Andrew Swanson. Head brewers Greg and Dan join the group along with Tom and Richard. We talk about the history and growth of both breweries, some of their newest beers, perfect pours and what happens when a beer doesn’t come out as planned. We also get into a conversation about Pork Roll/Taylor Ham (Editor's note: it is clearly pork roll, taylor ham is blasphemy), haunted breweries and mysterious ice cream stands. Like Ozzy a little off the rails, but the train arrives safely.
