The Southside Show ATL
Think you have what it takes to be a leader? It’s not easy—but for councilman Joshua Butler IV, serving his community is worth every sacrifice. He even declined a scholarship to MIT to follow in the footsteps of Benjamin Mays and Martin Luther King Jr.! An Atlanta native, council member Butler was elected to office in 2017 as East Point City's Ward D At-Large representative and has been championing the same agenda from the beginning––and that is to spearhead Smart City initiatives that reinforce public safety and economic development. Today, he works towards this agenda through his efforts to bring more accessible healthcare facilities and general hospitals to the Southside. He tells us all about it in today's episode of the Southside Show! Watch to learn more about this much-needed healthcare project, his career journey, and his beliefs about economic development.
