Descripción

At first it may seem obvious why we cry after someone passes away, but in this talk Rabbi Menachem Wolf uncovers a deeper reason one that speaks to the profound connection between the souls of those who live in this world and those who have gone to the next. It is not just our pain we feel but theirs, but it is also their bliss and clam that we feel as time goes on. This segment is part of a larger talk and was recorded in a large space with a powerful echo.

The Kabbalah of Anger & Jealousy

This is lecture 2 of the three part series on Anger, Jealousy and Depression. Each class can be listened to out of context of the others. Kabbalah can raise our life perspective thereby expanding our ability to accept life and react more consciously to all that happens to us and around us. In this talk, Rabbi Menachem Wolf draws on the Kabbalistic teachings of the 16th century mystic the Arizal, gematria (numerology), the meaning of Gods names, and the deeper meaning of the Hebrew words for anger and jealousy, to help us overcome and even dissolve these traits. Rabbi Wolf also explores the nature of judgment and harshness because these are major elements that lie behind anger and jealousy.  In this class, Menachem teaches that everything is designed with intention and playing out with purpose and that we are participating witnesses to life.  At the end of this talk Menachem leads a mantra meditation to assist with anger and jealousy.
