The Midweek St Mirren Show returns for the 2016/17 season as we preview Saturday's game against Livingston and look towards the upcoming league campaign. We heard what Alex Rae had to say after a 3-1 win over Stenhousemuir along with striker David Clarkson who netted a double in that game. Midfielder Stephen Mallan also spoke to us about pre-season, the upcoming game against Livingston and what he hopes to achieve in the upcoming season.

Manager Alex Rae gives us his thoughts ahead of the game and talks about getting to work on signing targets and preparation for next season. With the Street Stuff Football Festival coming up we heard from Stephen Mallan, Jim Goodwin and Tony Fitzpatrick about what it's like to play on professional pitches inside a stadium. We also hear an exclusive interview with Steven Thompson who gets set to hang up his boots after Sunday's game.
