The Stage 28 Theatre Podcast
This July we celebrate America's 250th Birthday with a full slate of war films. We tried to cover all the bases with a wide range of conflicts, decades, filmmakers, and tones represented. All are through the lens of Americans as we look back on both the good and bad of the USA's complex legacy. We always work and hope to provide both classic favorites and new discoveries. Lots of rare and noteworthy prints on display this month in beautiful 35mm. We hope to see you there beginning this Friday the 3rd with 1941's multiple Oscar winner Sergeant York! As always, this podcast serves as a companion to our real-life historic theatre located in Urbania, Ohio, where we focused on preserving the experience of physical film exhibition.
