78: Watchalong - Allegiant

Normally in the description we would put a quote from the movie a la Blank Check, but this movie is so forgettable that no quotes could be found. In lieu of that we'll quote Wikipedia:  "It was set to be the first of two cinematic parts based on the 2013 novel Allegiant of the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth (the second cinematic part was to be named Ascendant)...It received generally negative reviews from critics, who criticized the lack of originality, character development, and the decision to split the film into two parts...Following budget cuts, a theatrical release for Ascendant was dropped in favor of reconfiguring the project as a television film for Starz...Both projects were later canceled, effectively ending the franchise." And...yeah watching the movie, it's quite obvious why it killed the franchise. We could not bear to watch this movie and then record a full episode on it, so instead, this is a watchalong in which we share our live thoughts as we watch the movie! So you can enjoy this as a commentary track as you watch your own copy of the movie, or just listen as we describe the movie and complain along the way.
