She completed her doctorate at UT Southwestern Medical Center School of Health Professions, attended St. Catherine's Rehab Hospital/Villa Maria Nursing Center Geriatric Residency to complete a 1-year post-professional education, is a Board Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist (GCS), and a Certified Exercise Expert for the Aging Adult (CEEAA). She has been practicing physical therapy for 10 years and has been specializing in geriatrics for 7 years. As a doctor of physical therapy and board certified geriatric clinical specialist, she realizes that older individuals need the tools and the support to take ownership of the their bodies. To have mobility as you grow older often promotes more independence. She is passionate about helping older individuals overcome the stigma of ‘getting old’. Her focus is to help older adults reduce pain, move better, and live with confidence  well into their later years. She loves music, soccer, reading, and most of all her family, which includes her lovable husband, Jason and her dog Bella.
