Charles has created a diverse body of work ranging from action films and dramas, to science fiction and romantic comedies. He attributes his skills in these areas, in part, to his associations with Academy Award winning screenwriter Walter Brown Newman, and industry pioneers, Stanley Shapiro and James Poe, “Around the World in 80 Days.” Mr. Johnson comes from UCLA, Los Angeles City College theatre background; personally tutored by Walter Brown Newman, Academy Award Winner, “Cat Ballou.” The credit Charles is most proud of is the Christopher Award winning production, The George Mc Kenna Story, starring Denzel Washington.
