In this episode we pay tribute to true everyday heroes you've never heard about, Certified Drinking Water Operators.  They are on-call, 24-hours per day, 365-days per year, during holidays and weekends as well the height of the pandemic, ensuring you had clean, safe, and abundant drinking water. Working without the availability of masks, many contracted Covid19.  Many were off work for long periods, some were hospitalized, and there were at least four known deaths due to Covid19.  Yet they continued to work every day to make sure you had plenty of water.  This holiday while you sit in the comfort of your home having Christmas dinner with family and friends or watch the Super Bowl, these courageous men and women will be watching over the water treatment plants and distribution systems making sure the water you receive is clean and safe.
