The Wealth of Love
Today we have the one & only Shanna L Woods for an episode of “I’ve earned my strips!”. Shanna is a professional dancer-singer currently based out of South Florida. She’s faced several difference scenarios with how the black female body has been sexualized and how it’s been taught by the media and society. Even I have experienced it throughout my childhood up until my adult life. I’ve even gotten some backlash on the choice of the cover art for this podcast. So.. let’s talk about this. TO BE CLEAR, this conversation is not to explain but to educate people how these points are the reality for more than half of the African American women living in america.
