Descripción

Hi all, I'm not very keen on end-of-year posts, but I do feel that this time it's worth looking back a bit, and more importantly, also looking forward. So here I go, 2025 and 2026 from my perspective as a Joomla SEO and content extensions developer.   ---------------------------------------- Read the full blog post here [https://weeblr.com/blog/2025-going-away-welcome-2026] or visit our blog for more episodes [https://weeblr.com/blog/]. 4Command: Joomla administration, simpler and faster

Today, we're introducing 4Command [https://weeblr.com/products/4command]. It complements Joomla's classical menu-based navigation system with a command palette and keyboard shortcuts. * the command palette lets you search and run things fast and without knowing where they are * keyboard shortcuts lets you do things with 2 keystrokes instead of 2 page loads * 4Command adds shortcuts to Joomla toolbars such as Ctrl/command + S to Save * If you do not or cannot use a mouse, then 4Command helps you navigate Joomla admin tremendously If you are around, please join me and the Small Business Joomla User Group for a quick live presentation of 4Command. * on Thursday May 16, at 11AM Eastern Time (8AM Pacific Time, 3PM UTC) All details in the linked blog post as usual.   ---------------------------------------- Read the full blog post here [https://weeblr.com/blog/4command-joomla-administration-simpler-and-faster] or visit our blog for more episodes [https://weeblr.com/blog/]. User question: what does canonical URL means?

Hi all, I've been meaning to write about the concept of canonical for a while and this week, a comment at the end of a support ticket finally prompted me to do so. The thing is, canonical is used (mostly) in two different ways and they seem to contradict each other: * a page is canonical (or not) * a page has a canonical tag The confusing part is that: > when a page has a canonical tag, it's usually because it's not canonical How is that possible and should you care anyway?   ---------------------------------------- Read the full blog post here [https://weeblr.com/blog/user-question-what-does-canonical-url-mean] or visit our blog for more episodes [https://weeblr.com/blog/].
