This evening's call with my little ladies was such a delight.  Tell you what, I set out to get this community launched to hold a container for these 13/14 year old teen girls and they never cease to amaze me with their wisdom. I feel like I learn more than I ever set out to when I'm facilitating these calls!  We had the incredible pleasure of having Karlie Gonzalez on with us with her charm and true caring for these girls.  I met Karlie when she was just their age, and now a successful, independent full time career girl, doing what she is truly passionate about, helping others live their best lives. I couldn't be more proud of her for being the incredible young woman that she has always been.  Whether you have daughters or recall struggling as a young teen, perhaps listening to this week's episode will inspire you to do something different for yourself or for someone you love.

Setting Boundaries

Navigating life is a challenge for us all. There’s not a single person in this world that was born equipped with the ability to handle everything that comes at them with ease and grace. As I reflect on the Modern Goddess Retreat that my partner Michelle Fetters of Epona Guide and I just concluded last weekend, I found that there’s one common theme for many of you goddesses out there, as it was very prevalent amongst all of our clients at the retreat. As women, we generally lead from our heart space and that can leave us wide open for all sorts of mayhem. Learning how to set boundaries to keep the bad juju out yet allow what’s meant for us to come in, can be a fine dance that takes practice.
