episode The 4 Biggest Weight Loss Mistakes That Kept Me Stuck artwork

The 4 Biggest Weight Loss Mistakes That Kept Me Stuck

In this episode, I’m sharing the 4 biggest weight loss mistakes that kept me stuck for years, the very things that delayed my progress and kept me trapped in the exhausting cycle of starting over, giving up, and wondering why nothing was truly changing. These mistakes impacted me in four major ways: 1. My Mindset — Relying on someone else to do it with me I learned the hard way that no one could do this journey for me. Everything changed the moment I stopped waiting for someone else and chose myself. 2. My Nutrition — Restricting without truly learning I knew how to diet, but I didn’t actually understand nutrition. I spent years restricting instead of learning how to fuel my body in a sustainable way. 3. My Continued Progress — Working hard, but not smarter I thought working harder was always the answer, but without understanding how to support my metabolism, I was unknowingly making long-term progress much harder. 4. The Support I Wish I Had — Not hiring an expert sooner Looking back, one of the biggest things I wish I had done was ask for help earlier. The right guidance could have saved me years of confusion, frustration, and feeling stuck. If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything you can but still not seeing lasting change, this episode is for you. My hope is that by sharing the mistakes I made, you’ll avoid the same detours and feel empowered to create change that actually lasts. ---------------------------------------- Hire me as your online weight loss coach 🫶🏼✨ www.getfitwithmer.com [www.getfitwithmer.com] Follow me on instagram 🩷☺️ - www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_ [www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_] - www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_ [www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_] Subscribe to my YouTube 💌 - www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer [www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer]

Told I’d Never Ovulate, Now I’m a Mom (with Brianna Tanner)

In this episode, we welcome Brianna Tanner, the driving force and head of operations behind the Get Fit With Mer program. Bri’s personal journey is nothing short of extraordinary: At just 22 years old, she was told she would never have children after being diagnosed with early-onset menopause. Instead of accepting her fate, she fought for answers, balanced her hormones naturally, and defied all odds. Now, she’s a proud mother of her miracle child, who’s now a thriving toddler. What you’ll hear today: * The early signs and symptoms that something wasn’t right. * Her emotional journey through testing and searching for answers. * What doctors told her before she finally uncovered the truth. * How she naturally balanced her hormones and reclaimed her health. Bri’s story is one of unwavering resilience and hope. If you’ve ever felt lost in your hormonal journey, this conversation will inspire you. ---------------------------------------- Hire me as your online weight loss coach 🫶🏼✨ www.getfitwithmer.com [www.getfitwithmer.com] Follow me on instagram 🩷☺️ - www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_ [www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_] - www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_ [www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_] Subscribe to my YouTube 💌 - www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer [www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer]

episode Working for God vs. Walking With God artwork

Working for God vs. Walking With God

In this episode, we dive deep into the tension between working for God and walking with God. Are we constantly performing, striving, and trying to do more for God… yet somehow still feeling distant from Him? We unpack how striving, overworking, and constantly trying to “earn” our purpose can slowly drown out the voice of God. Sometimes we become so focused on doing things for Him that we forget to simply be with Him. This episode is not about avoiding work for God. It’s about learning how to truly walk with Him first so He can lead the work through you instead of you trying to force it on your own. Along the way, we reflect on the powerful story shared in The Case for Christ and how one woman simply being obedient and listening to where she felt led to go ended up becoming part of a moment that changed countless lives forever. Because of one moment… one act of obedience… Lee Strobel, a former investigative journalist determined to disprove Christianity, eventually became one of the most well-known Christian authors and apologists in the world. Today, he is known for books like The Case for Christ and The Case for Heaven, with over 18 million copies sold across more than 40 languages. Sometimes we forget that God does not need our performance. He wants our presence, our obedience, and our willingness to listen when He speaks. If you’ve been feeling spiritually exhausted, distant from God, overwhelmed by striving, or stuck trying to “do more,” this episode is a reminder that maybe God isn’t asking you to work harder… maybe He’s simply asking you to walk with Him. ---------------------------------------- Hire me as your online weight loss coach 🫶🏼✨ www.getfitwithmer.com [www.getfitwithmer.com] Follow me on instagram 🩷☺️ - www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_ [www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_] - www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_ [www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_] Subscribe to my YouTube 💌 - www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer [www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer]

episode How to Avoid Loose Skin During Weight Loss artwork

How to Avoid Loose Skin During Weight Loss

Loose skin is one of the biggest fears people have when starting a weight loss journey… and honestly? I understand why. In this episode, we’re having a REAL conversation about loose skin, muscle mass, genetics, stretch marks, rapid weight loss, collagen, and the things that may actually help support your skin during a transformation journey. But I also want to be extremely honest before you listen: Loose skin is NOT always fully preventable. You can do “everything right,” lose weight slowly, strength train, prioritize protein, build muscle, hydrate, support your skin, and still experience loose skin especially after significant weight loss, pregnancy, genetics, age, or years of stretched skin. I know this personally because despite everything I did throughout my 120-pound weight loss journey, I still have loose skin too. This episode is not about “perfect prevention.” It’s about understanding what MAY help reduce the severity of loose skin as much as possible while also learning how to approach your body with realism, grace, and compassion throughout the process. If loose skin has ever scared you away from changing your life, I hope this episode helps you approach the conversation with more education, less fear, and a healthier perspective overall. ---------------------------------------- Hire me as your online weight loss coach 🫶🏼✨ www.getfitwithmer.com [www.getfitwithmer.com] Follow me on instagram 🩷☺️ - www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_ [www.instagram.com/getfitwithmer_] - www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_ [www.instagram.com/thewholeheartedjourney_] Subscribe to my YouTube 💌 - www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer [www.youtube.com/getfitwithmer]
