What better way to learn how to stay on track toward reaching your goals than to hear from a clinical sports psychologist? This week, Bryant and Joe welcome back Dr. Claire Reclosado Baclay (CRB) to talk about the 5 Ws (not the starting 5 lineup for the Golden State Warriors), but the 5 Ws that are important in our day to day life in order to stay motivated and work toward reaching the goals we set for ourselves. First there's the why. Why do you do what you do, what is your purpose and how does it come into play into your life. Then there's worth which is all about knowing what you deserve and that you have value. Third is will-power which is which is identifying your own limits and capacities. After that, is well-wishers. This reminds us to surround ourselves with authentic people who support us and give us honest feedback. Lastly, there's when to walk which is knowing when something is no longer beneficial for you and being able to walk away. Check out our youtube video to  hear if there is a specific order to the 5 Ws, which one is most important, how to narrow your goals down and more! Also tune in this week for a bonus: Bryant, Joe, and CRB give their predictions for the Bachelor winner as this was filmed the night of the finale! Mental Toughness and the Key to Perform Better for Life

When things don't go your way, what's keeping you going? We are all going to have days where we don't feel inspired to go to work, work out, or get anything done which is why it is so important to train yourself to be mentally tough. This means that you must find ways to motivate yourself intrinsically so that on these difficult days, you have a reason for working, training, or doing whatever you have to do. Bryant goes into detail about harmonious passion vs obsessive passion and which one we should be focusing on when on comes to reaching goals or getting through hard times. Another component to becoming mentally tough is realizing that your mind is the most powerful performance tool so shifting your mindset to the positives will set you up for success. Also remember to find frequent inspiration and surround yourself with a challenging and supportive environment so that when hard times come up, you are constantly motivated to keep moving forward.

He also challenges us to increase our mobility because after all, the more mobility you have, the stronger you can become. Find out how to get more steps in if you feel like you don’t have the time to work out and what 3 areas of the body Brandon recommends to focus on!
