The Wondering Poet
A reading of 'Invictus' by William Ernest Henley. Henley (1849-1903) was an English poet, critic and editor. Invictus was one of his, and best known, poems. It was written while in the hospital fighting tuberculosis on the bones. A disease he had since youth. As one of his many hospital poems it tells of fortitude during life's struggles.
