This week we begin with a recap of Hurricane Ida heading north. The storm brought catastrophic levels of rain to the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the country, triggering statewide emergencies. With the NFL season around the corner, teams had to trim their rosters down to the final 53 players. And, in a surprising move, the New England Patriots released former NFL MVP Cam Newton which signified they are all in on their 1st round draft pick, former Alabama QB Mac Jones. DaBaby is back in the news as a result of meeting with a group of nine HIV-Awareness organization. Que not only reads some quotes that were part of a joint statement on behalf of all groups involved but also shares why DaBaby has a ways to go with regards to making amends. Cory Booker went viral last week after a video of him making sarcastic comments after a vote passed surrounding the defunding of the police.
