Massive fuel price hike expected in October 2018

In September, the Department of Energy took an unprecedented decision by limiting the fuel price hike to only five cents a litre, but experts feel that this is only delaying the inevitable. The AA has predicted a massive price hike in October that will leave motorists with a very bad taste in their mouths. 1 Dead - 1 critically injured in car accident near Tongaat.

1 person has passed away and 1 has been critically injured in a car accident near Tongaat a few minutes ago. The critically injured passenger has been airlifted to hospital by Black Eagle/IPSS aeromedical team after a collision in Tongaat. Trees are being killed in South Africa by a small beetle

Big trees across South Africa are being killed by a beetle no bigger than a peppercorn. The polyphagous shot hole borer, native to Southeast Asia has landed in South Africa and is causing havoc. It is yet unknown how the beetle ended up in South Africa - however one thing is clear - they are reproducing at an alarming rate.
