Today Is My Favorite Day
Randy Pandis lived in Iran as a young teenager. His dad was a consultant for a company that sold military weapons to Iran before the revolution. Randy gives his view of what Iran looked like in the late 1970's, including the eventual takeover of the United States Embassy on November 4, 1979. Dave and Randy also discuss the various groups involved in the revolution and how the Islamists eventually came to power. It's very important to know the process to power so it is not repeated in the United States. He sees the warning signs of an Islamic Revolution and what is developing in Europe and the United States today. Despite the deja vu experience, Randy believes our job as believers in Jesus Christ is to know what Islamists believe, counter those beliefs with Biblical truth, and to lead muslims to Christ.
