Descripción

In this episode, I discuss how I met Mr Right. I went through the acute fear of getting married because of failed marriages. It became a question of, "What version do you bring to the table to ensure he is the man?" Marriage is where we cultivate each other. I aimed to embody the qualities I sought in a man, prioritizing spiritual alignment. Despite having spiritual direction, my vanity almost made me miss my husband because he didn't fit my ideal package. One key lesson in choosing a life partner is overcoming vanity—know and accept yourself. His confidence and belief in himself drew me to him. Though dating brought challenges, I am happy with my choice and have no regrets. We didn't let sex overshadow us before marriage, allowing us to develop a deep understanding of each other. What did you think were crucial at the start of a relationship but later realized weren't? In this episode, we'll explore these insights and more. Episode 24: Conversations with Mr Right feat. Dr Istifanus Bako

In this heartwarming episode, I deliver on my long-awaited promise by bringing a special guest Dr. Istifanus Bako (My Husband), to join me. Together, we share our beautiful love story, exploring how faith and serendipity brought us together. Dr. Bako reflects on our first meeting at a medical outreach in Langtang,  Plateau State, recounting how he nervously asked for my number as a broke medical student. He talks about his search for a serious relationship and how his ideal woman changed when he met me. I also share my perspective, admitting I wasn’t even looking for a relationship then. I reflect on how my superficial preferences evolved, realizing I got everything I needed in Dr. Bako. Through laughter and introspection, we discuss the importance of rising above expectations, embracing imperfections, and building a relationship rooted in friendship. This episode celebrates love, offering valuable insights for anyone seeking their "Mr. or Mrs. Right." Episode 22: My Journey into Relationships

In this episode, I explore the journey of understanding relationships and personal growth. After gaining insight into how God operates, I felt it was time to reevaluate my views on men. I realised that everyone struggles with something from their past, including those who may have wronged us, and this understanding helped me learn to extend grace. I had lost faith and confidence in men, but I decided to set standards like abstinence and purity, which narrowed my dating pool significantly. I focused on becoming a better version of myself, embodying the qualities I wanted in others, such as hard work, openness, and transparency. Mastering communication, learning to ask for help, and being accountable were essential. I discovered that people are often willing to help if you just ask. During my self-improvement journey, I met many interesting people but didn't let their opinions define me. It's crucial to understand what you want from a relationship and to give yourself time to heal from past ones. This helps redefine what you're looking for and ensures you're ready for a healthy partnership. What is your ideal partner like? episode Episode 21: Church Hopping artwork

Episode 21: Church Hopping

In this episode, I discuss my journey through church navigation, searching for a suitable place to worship. During this period, I encountered various misconceptions the church faced, such as issues with dressing and some strange doctrines. I felt a persistent sense of seeking something more, leading me to read scripture and pray more directly. The love I experienced during my initial encounter with Jesus seemed absent in these places. I sought intimacy with God, and I realized I could not find it in a particular location. Instead of complaining about what was missing, I decided to become part of the solution. In my quest to know God more, I realized that most of the restrictions that keep us from faith conversations are man-made, not from God. I also discovered that while the church speaks highly of God, it often fails to connect its members with the God of the church. This prioritization of the church over God was significant for me. We should strive to mirror God in His purest form and let people determine their own place. Church is not something to inherit; let's inherit God. Setting aside cultural and religious interferences and experiencing a direct revelation of God is possible.  Don't forget to follow us on Facebook: Total Woman Podcast [https://web.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095381950980] Instagram: @totalwomanpodcast [https://instagram.com/totalwomanpodcast?igshid=MzNlNGNkZWQ4Mg==] Also, rate, subscribe, like and share this podcast so that others can find it and the Total Woman Podcast family can grow.

Episode 20: My Journey into Faith 2

In this episode, I continue sharing my faith journey. I realised that although I had found Christ, I still struggled with my past life and worldly activities like partying and spending time with people who didn’t support my faith. However, certain experiences led me to understand prayer as a conversation with God. Over time, I felt God's love and decided to stand out and make a difference in my Christian life. Despite this, Christianity still seemed boring to me, so I continued my journey of discovery. This quest led me to search for the right church, resulting in some church hopping. Through these experiences, I discovered that there is much more to God than I initially realised.
