Mooglecast, Episode 26 | Specimens | Games From Other Platforms We Wanna See On Playstation

Warmest of Welcomes everybody Augusts episode came quickly for the Mooglecast boys, reunited after only 2 weeks since last recording, the boys decide to record without a guest chair and tackle a topic that is spin off of the PS Premium classics series, with games we wish to see ported to Playstation from other platforms. We list games such as Banjo Kazoo, Command & Conquer, Silver, Golden Sun, Lost Odyssey and Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. The front of the show comes with a new game to replace platinum shoutouts, The A-Z game where the boys get the brain juices flowing, Zac kills but Max is already starting to feel the effects of beer, an advance apology to the audience as you’ll most likely be screaming at Max whilst we play this game. As per usual the boys dive into The Record and Cactus Vs Tonberry where Max and Zac discuss Joshuas newest challenge issued to both of them. During the recording of this episode Zac was recording his audio through his webcam so the quality will be noticeable different this episode, but the content remains the same. We’ll see you in September, but until then… Be excellent to each other. Max

PS Plus Game Club - Episode 44 Bramble: The Mountain King

This time Jordan and Krissy join Kevin to talk about Bramble: The Mountain King. This game starts out very innocent looking, but quickly takes a very dark turn into material akin to Grimm’s fairytales. The three of them all talk about why that makes the game so interesting and how the game iterates on the nordic stories it is based on. Then they do a quick run-through of the story and break down each of the monstrous bosses that our young protagonist Olle encounters. From Näcken, the fiddler at the lake, to Skogsrå the forest changeling they marveled at them all and you’ll hear why. They also all agree that this game has one of the best versions of “In the Hall of the Mountain King” and makes incredible use of it. If you haven’t played the fairytale Bramble: The Mountain King, we hope hearing about our experience gets you interested.

Trophy Talk Podcast - Episode 147: Pelican Drop

Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Trophy Talk! Can you believe it? The time has finally come to talk about Halo: Campaign Evolved, as Master Chief makes his debut on PlayStation. Does Halo: CE now 25 years old still hold up all these years later? How did the change to UE effect the overall look and feel of the game? What are our hopes and dreams for future Halo projects that could come to PlayStation? Well, Josh and Colin cover all of that, and a good deal more as they camp out on Spartan 117 for quite some time. In addition to the Halo conversation, the crew of course takes some time to re-touch on the ongoing analysis of PlayStation's move away from physical disc production in 2028. Is the proposed blackout of the PSN from August 23rd - August 30th the right way to send a message to PlayStation, and make a difference? Or ultimately, are the die already cast as we march inexorably forward towards a digital only future? Only time will tell, but Josh and Colin do have some thoughts on the matter, and suggest ways to maybe alter some of the more popular methods of protest. On top of all of that there is of course a discussion on what event is coming up next for the Discord and when it begins, a Trophy Talk edition of Cactuar vs. Tonberry, Plat Shout Outs, and what we've been playing. We hope that you all enjoy listening to the episode, and thank you for your time.
