Pharaoh had the frogs in his own bed. Moses gave him the easiest opening in the whole book: name the hour, and God will end it. Pharaoh said: tomorrow. You Obeyed and it got Harder!

You obeyed God. The door stayed closed anyway. The system pushed back harder. And the people you went to help started blaming you for their pain. Somewhere in that silence, a question forms: did God know what He was asking you to walk into? Exodus 2 through 6 answers that question. Not with easy comfort. With covenant. This week we watched a fugitive shepherd meet the I AM at a burning bush on an ordinary workday. We watched him go back to the place he ran from. We watched him obey completely and watch everything get worse. We watched him take his raw, unfiltered lament directly to God. And we watched God answer the why question with something bigger than an explanation: a name, and seven covenant declarations that don't depend on Pharaoh's cooperation, your perfect faith, or a pain-free path. When God Doesn't Answer Your Why | Exodus 6 | Day 59 You obeyed. Things got worse. Now what? Moses did exactly what God told him; and the Israelites ended up making bricks without straw.  So he went back to God with a raw, honest question: Why did You send me? And God didn't answer the why. I Obeyed and it all went Worse!

You obeyed. You said yes. You did what God told you to do. And things got worse. That's not a sign you got it wrong. That's Exodus 5 - and it may be the most important chapter in the Torah for anyone living inside an active calling right now. Moses walked into Pharaoh's court with God's word in his mouth. Pharaoh escalated. The people suffered more. And the very people Moses came to rescue turned on him. So Moses did something most of us don't do - he took the raw, unpolished pain directly to God.
