Beyond Midnight

I guess the emotion is felt in the stillness of the night, thoughts entwin. Seeking solace cuz I wanna feel safe in a sapio’s rhyme. A connection, deep and true, to find within. Heartstrings play a mournful tune,Underneath the pale, reflective moon. Which path to take, which way to steer? When every choice is clouded by fear? Open hearts, so fragile and meek, Yearn for love, for the warmth they seek. Yet time is fleeting, hard to find,in the labyrinth of an overburdened mind. Woosahhhh… Patience, gentle heart, cuz that’s a virtue right? It’s like my heart is day, waiting for night… A simple question lingers clear, for in the quest of soul and mind, a mended heart you’ll find. I am so proud of you, For the strength in all you do. You’ve taken a deck and ran a Boston, Triumphed over every pain, often. You’ve wiped away tears meant to drown, Turned sorrow into strength, never down. Watered a concrete rose, grew tall, Defying odds, you stood through it all. I admire who you’ve become, indeed, Navigating life with integrity. From who you were to who you are now, I’m happy we finally meet, somehow.
