Have you ever said or thought: I used to do that... why did I stop doing that? In the last 5 years I have found that there are things that we have seemed to have "forgotten" or just stopped doing. We seem to have stopped treating others like we want to be treated; you know the Golden Rule of "do unto others..." Yep! THAT ONE! Kindergarten Rules like waiting our turn, apologizing if we wrong someone, speaking as we pass or at least making eye contact and smiling... human connection. Rituals of #selfcare #gratitude #personaldevelopment #healthyhabits and other things like this contribute to positive mindset and #journaling can be a very helpful tool in this journey. As a teacher and LPC who utilized Cognitive Behaviorial Therapy when working with my clients I highly recommend #mindset work in processing past and current events and setting goals for the future.
