Pops Professional Journey

I like to tell people my dad went from working nights at a liquor store to selling his business and retiring in Kailua-Kona at 50 years old. A lot of amazing things happened in between to make that happen. This episode goes over some of those amazing things that happened during Pops professional journey. Music, as always, was critical. A job in radio led to being hired as one of the first seven employees of Ticketmaster. One night after an Ice Capades show, Ticketmaster is robbed. The owners accuse my father of doing it and make him take multiple lie detector tests. After passing them all, the original owners ask him to come back to work. His response... F*** YOU I am going into business against you. He does , starts a competing business (Giant Tickets) that puts the original Ticketmaster out of business. This episode goes over those years and includes some pretty cool stories from Pops years in the rock-n-roll business.
