Microsoft extends Office support - but not entirely Windows 10
👉Subscribe to my Patreon for early access! https://patreon.com/tyclifford [https://patreon.com/tyclifford] Boo! While MS will be supporting Office for three years after Win10's end of life, consumers will not be able to enjoy the full three years, of course, unless they have a business version of Windows and or have some sort of special support. Moves like this hurt the low income and only show why more open source solutions need to be introduced to help recycle hardware. Hurts the low income
You gotta work if you want Medicaid!
👉Subscribe to Nerd Club to get early access to future casts https://patreon.com/tyclifford [https://patreon.com/tyclifford] It's one thing to encourage and provide resources for one to apply for a job, but to require it for social healthcare is quite absurd. There are people physically unable to or can't work enough or simply can't find enough access TO pay for full, private healthcare. I imagine there are instances where people have forty-hour work weeks and still can't afford health insurance. So, why is it lawmakers want to continue making things rough for those in poverty, and with health issues? Are school vouchers gonna be handed out?
Journal: Do we need to win an argument?
Short answer: no. Whether you like Jordan Peterson or not, once in awhile he catches my attention on subjects, and especially with this one: we don’t need to win arguments. And, if we do, now we have an upset partner walking around because “you won.” It was a sudden realization for me, something I knew I’ve done in the past, and now that I’m fully aware of it one can only feel a bit sad. On an uplifting note, a lot of new pathways are connected now on how to handle arguments with “a partner.” Debate wise is another story, but that’s for another time. Trump asked the FCC to moderate content
Just touching base with the insanity Donald Trump still flaunts around. It was unknown to me this was taking place - technically last year - and, thankfully, the FCC did what the FCC should be doing and stayed out of it. In fact, they became a little verbal about the ordeal. So, we're in an age where politicians dislike fact-checking, but want the government to do fact-checking instead? Isn't this a serious violation of the first amendment? The FCC thinks so! Which is wild to me, because the FCC once unlawfully used a song in one of their videos--go figure. But at this time, an idiot also headed it. Get behind-the-scenes content, and this content earlier by becoming a member. https://go.tyclifford.com/patreon
