Bible verses used: Ecclesiastes 10:12-14 Amplified Bible 12 The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious and win him favor, but the lips of a fool consume him; 13 the beginning of his talking is foolishness and the end of his talk is wicked madness. 14 Yet the fool multiplies words, though no man knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after he is gone? James 1:19 Amplified Bible Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Christina’s Test People To See If They Have The Holy Spirit.

Forgive my mispronunciation. I said Jude chapter 4 when I meant Jude chapter 1 verse 4, y'all love me. I'm not perfect In this podcast, I am warning Christians to test people for the Holy Spirit by evaluating their spiritual fruit and whether their teachings are truly God's Teachings. Bible Verses used 1 John 4:1 Amplified Bible Testing the Spirits 4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. Jude 1:4 Amplified Bible 4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed [just as if they were sneaking in by a side door]. They are ungodly persons whose condemnation was predicted long ago, for they distort the grace of our God into decadence and immoral freedom [viewing it as an opportunity to do whatever they want], and deny and disown our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Jude 1:8 Amplified Bible 8 Nevertheless in the same way, these dreamers [who are dreaming that God will not punish them] also defile the body, and reject [legitimate] authority, and revile and mock angelic majesties. Christians Don't Be A Hypocrite PART TWO

SORRY, WHEN I WAS READING ROMANS 2:7, I MEANT TO SAY "IMMORTALITY"-SORRY FOR THE MISPRONUNCIATION. "IN TODAY’S EPISODE, I’M BREAKING DOWN WHY WE NEED TO STOP JUDGING OTHERS HYPOCRITICALLY—AND STOP PROJECTING ONTO PEOPLE THE THINGS WE SECRETLY FEEL ABOUT OURSELVES. I’LL SHOW YOU HOW TO PRACTICE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT THAT ALIGNS WITH INTEGRITY, NOT HYPOCRISY.” ROMANS 2:1-11 AMPLIFIED BIBLE THE IMPARTIALITY OF GOD 1 THEREFORE YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE OR JUSTIFICATION, EVERYONE OF YOU WHO [HYPOCRITICALLY] JUDGES AND CONDEMNS OTHERS; FOR IN PASSING JUDGMENT ON ANOTHER PERSON, YOU CONDEMN YOURSELF, BECAUSE YOU WHO JUDGE [FROM A POSITION OF ARROGANCE OR SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS] ARE HABITUALLY PRACTICING THE VERY SAME THINGS [WHICH YOU DENOUNCE]. 2 AND WE KNOW THAT THE JUDGMENT OF GOD FALLS JUSTLY AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH TRUTH ON THOSE WHO PRACTICE SUCH THINGS. 3 BUT DO YOU THINK THIS, O MAN, WHEN YOU JUDGE AND CONDEMN THOSE WHO PRACTICE SUCH THINGS, AND YET DO THE SAME YOURSELF, THAT YOU WILL ESCAPE GOD’S JUDGMENT AND ELUDE HIS VERDICT? 4 OR DO YOU HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE WEALTH OF HIS KINDNESS AND TOLERANCE AND PATIENCE [IN WITHHOLDING HIS WRATH]? ARE YOU [ACTUALLY] UNAWARE OR IGNORANT [OF THE FACT] THAT GOD’S KINDNESS LEADS YOU TO REPENTANCE [THAT IS, TO CHANGE YOUR INNER SELF, YOUR OLD WAY OF THINKING—SEEK HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE]? 5 BUT BECAUSE OF YOUR CALLOUS STUBBORNNESS AND UNREPENTANT HEART YOU ARE [DELIBERATELY] STORING UP WRATH FOR YOURSELF ON THE DAY OF WRATH WHEN GOD’S RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT WILL BE REVEALED. 6 HE WILL PAY BACK TO EACH PERSON ACCORDING TO HIS DEEDS [JUSTLY, AS HIS DEEDS DESERVE]: 7 TO THOSE WHO BY PERSISTENCE IN DOING GOOD SEEK [UNSEEN BUT CERTAIN HEAVENLY] GLORY, HONOR, AND IMMORTALITY, [HE WILL GIVE THE GIFT OF] ETERNAL LIFE. 8 BUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE SELFISHLY AMBITIOUS AND SELF-SEEKING AND DISOBEDIENT TO THE TRUTH BUT RESPONSIVE TO WICKEDNESS, [THERE WILL BE] WRATH AND INDIGNATION. 9 THERE WILL BE TRIBULATION AND ANGUISH [TORTURING CONFINEMENT] FOR EVERY HUMAN SOUL WHO DOES [OR PERMITS] EVIL, TO THE JEW FIRST AND ALSO TO THE GREEK, 10 BUT GLORY AND HONOR AND INNER PEACE [WILL BE GIVEN] TO EVERYONE WHO HABITUALLY DOES GOOD, TO THE JEW FIRST AND ALSO TO THE GREEK. 11 FOR GOD SHOWS NO PARTIALITY [NO ARBITRARY FAVORITISM; WITH HIM ONE PERSON IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANOTHER]. John 7:24 NIV: "Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly. Christians Don't Be A Hypocrite

“In today’s episode, I’m unpacking the distinction between hypocritical judgment and righteous judgment.” Matthew 7:1-5 Amplified Bible Judging Others 7 “Do not judge and criticize and condemn [others unfairly with an attitude of self-righteous superiority as though assuming the office of a judge], so that you will not be judged [unfairly]. 2 For just as you [hypocritically] judge others [when you are sinful and unrepentant], so will you be judged; and in accordance with your standard of measure [used to pass out judgment], judgment will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the [insignificant] speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice and acknowledge the [egregious] log that is in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me get the speck out of your eye,’ when there is a log in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite (play-actor, pretender), first get the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Matthew 23:27-28 AMP “Woe to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which look beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean. So you, also, outwardly seem to be just and upright to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.  John 7:24 in the Amplified Bible (AMP) "Do not judge by appearance [superficially and arrogantly], but judge fairly and righteously. Christians don't be a fool

In this podcast, I explain why we, as Christians, should avoid engaging with fools and also guard ourselves from behaving like fools within the body of Christ. Much of what I share comes from the book of Proverbs. You asked me to go deeper into what I said in my last episode—specifically, my comments about Proverbs and the idea of the “fool”—so this message expands on that. Proverbs 13:20 Amplified Bible 20 He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm. Proverbs 14:9 Amplified Bible 9 Fools mock sin [but sin mocks the fools], But among the upright, there is good will and the favor and blessing of God. Proverbs 14:16 Amplified Bible 16 A wise man suspects danger and cautiously avoids evil, But the fool is arrogant and careless. Proverbs 26:4-5 New International Version 4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. 5 Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes. Proverbs 29:9-11 Amplified Bible 9 If a wise man has a controversy with a foolish and arrogant man, The foolish man [ignores logic and fairness and] only rages or laughs, and there is no peace (rest, agreement). 10 The bloodthirsty hate the blameless [because of his integrity], But the upright are concerned for his life. 11 A [shortsighted] fool always loses his temper and displays his anger, But a wise man [uses self-control and] holds it back.
