UNMUTE: Empowering women scientists' voices
In this episode Brenda Namumba is interviewed by the editor Aline Afanoukoé. Originally from Zambia, Brenda Namumba is a post-doctoral fellow in physics, specializing in astronomy. Her research at the Radio Astronomy Observatory of South Africa is devoted to analyzing star formation in dwarf galaxies with the MeerKAT telescope. With women underrepresented in her field, Brenda Namumba hopes to change mindsets and inspire more young girls in Africa to pursue a career in astrophysics.
