Kim Field is a Puyallup girl born and raised. Kim graduated from Puyallup High School. She has spent many years bouncing around in jobs and always seemed to be ending up in recreation/sports. Kim loves her community and is committed to giving back to it when and wherever she can.  On a personal level, like everyone, she is a self proclaimed work in progress. Kim says she strives to be better, be kind, and humble. She enjoy recreational cycling and flat water kayaking. Kim says it has taken many years to find her happy place in career, relationship, and life.  "Live a Great Story" is Kim's motto. She served as Director of Human Resources (HR) Operations & Organizational Development for the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois. While there, she spearheaded comprehensive HR initiatives and operations playing a pivotal role in optimizing service delivery. She takes pride in driving strategic HR direction, most notably in addressing complex workforce challenges with the Chicago Project for Violence Prevention group. Guided by Maya Angelou's timeless wisdom, Deborah prioritizes the human connection in every interaction, understanding that it is not just what you say or do, but how you make others feel that truly matters. Thus, she fosters meaningful connections and leverages proven strategies to facilitate actionable steps when coaching clients.
