Case #9: What Happened to Brittany Stykes? Part 2

I contacted the Brown County Sheriff’s Department with questions about Brittany Stykes. What they told me changed everything. The blue light story from Episode 8, investigators now say the informant was known for making things up. Shane Stykes has NOT been ruled out as a suspect. That came directly from the Sheriff. And for Brittany, she told multiple people, days before she was murdered, she was afraid of Shane. That she had things packed. That she was planning to leave. She was scared. Days later she was dead. If you have any information contact Sergeant Terry Eshman at teshman@bcoso.us or 937-378-4435 ext. 130. $50,000 reward. Completely anonymous. Case #6: Deeper Into The Darkness, Sara Ebersole Part 2

Episode 5 opened a door. Episode 6 walks through it. After Sara Ebersole’s episode aired someone from Marion County Florida contacted me and told me to stop talking. That told me everything I needed to know. Today I cover the name I haven’t talked about yet, Joseph Merlyn Mayton. The father of Sara’s daughter Cora Dahlia. A man with a documented history of violence going back to 2016. A man who choked a seven months pregnant Sara and threw her across a kitchen. A man who systematically withheld their daughter from Sara for years while she begged in writing just to see her. A man who was arrested for violent battery 26 days after Sara disappeared. I also address the messages I received after Episode 5. The counter narrative. Tips: Detective Ryan Stith — 352-368-3542 Marion County Sheriff — 352-732-9111 — case 23-71 Crime Stoppers anonymous — 352-368-7867 Reward — $36,000 Voices of the Forgotten — because every voice deserves to be heard. https://linktr.ee/716.girlinatl
