Her firsthand exposure to exploitation and victimization in these worlds, combined with profound personal loss from sexual violence and trauma in her own family, reshaped her life’s work. After violence struck close to home in 2012, Pam began a relentless search for real-world self defense. She found it in Richard Dimitri’s trauma-aware, behavior-based approach to violence prevention. Today, Pam is Chief Impact Officer at Studio Violentiam, an internationally respected violence prevention educator, and a certified instructor with Richard Dimitri’s Self Defense Services and Safe International. She is also a Trauma Sensitive Yoga teacher and a pioneer in trauma-informed self defense education, working since 2015 with survivors of PTSD, sexual assault, domestic violence, and addiction. Her work bridges prevention, psychology, and healing, with one clear mission: to stop violence before it starts and empower those most often targeted.Read Pamela's full bio here: https://www.rpsviolenceprevention.com/about [https://www.rpsviolenceprevention.com/about]Pamela's links:✩ Website: www.rpsviolenceprevention.com [http://www.rpsviolenceprevention.com]✩ Website: www.yourselfdefenseexperts.com [http://www.yourselfdefenseexperts.com]✩ Website: www.studyofviolence.com [http://www.studyofviolence.com] (FREE RESOURCE)✩ Instagram: @pamela.armitage.sv [http://pamela.armitage.sv]✩ Facebook: /pamela.sisson.73✩ LinkedIn: /pamela-armitage✩ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@pamela.armitage?si=ILAOoMwm6B-S03kQ [https://youtube.com/@pamela.armitage?si=ILAOoMwm6B-S03kQ]Also check out:✩ Podcast Grave Conversations: https://www.youtube.com/@UCAsZTIduM3VQqwBw52F6HCg [https://www.youtube.com/@UCAsZTIduM3VQqwBw52F6HCg] ✩ Book Healing Rage by Ruth King: https://ruthking.net/product/healing-rage/ [https://ruthking.net/product/healing-rage/]--------LISTEN / SUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCASTSpotify: https://bit.ly/wwmepspotify [https://bit.ly/wwmepspotify]Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/wwmepapplepodcasts [https://bit.ly/wwmepapplepodcasts]YouTube: https://bit.ly/wwmepyoutube [https://bit.ly/wwmepyoutube]Newsletter: https://bit.ly/wwmenewsletter [https://bit.ly/wwmenewsletter]CONNECT WITH ME✩ Website: www.marieevebedard.com [http://www.marieevebedard.com]✩ Substack: https://intothelightwithme.substack.com/ [https://intothelightwithme.substack.com/]✩ Instagram: www.instagram.com/walkwithmethepodcast✩ YouTube: www.youtube.com/@walkwithmethepodcast--------NEW TO ME?Welcome! I'm Marie-Eve, a French-Canadian living in the German Black Forest with her husband and dogs, where walking is practice, lifestyle, and philosophy—a way to reconnect, honor, and deepen our bond with ourselves, each other, and the living earth. I am a master biologist, naturopath, somatics and fasciatherapeutic movement educator, in-betweenness mentor, life transition guide, and thanadoula, moving at the crossroads of science, spirit, and embodied wisdom. Here, we go on literal and metaphorical walks, where grief, life, death, transformation, and neurospicyness collide with curiosity, courage, and heart-to-heart wisdom. Every step reveals thresholds: truths we no longer avoid, stories we carry into the light, and possibilities that emerge when familiar paths vanish and we discover new, aligned ways to continue walking our journey. Walk with ME to discover how your brutiful (brutal + beautiful) grief will spark the revolution of your life. Dare, Always.
