Greetings! Thank you for checking out another episode of WTNT. Matthew 16 was a difficult chapter for me because many Christians are already familiar with the content. There’s nothing groundbreaking to say about this chapter, but we’re going to take a quick look at false teachings that Christ warned us about. Don’t forget to find Walking the New Testament in Apple Podcasts or Spotify if you would prefer the convenience of having it available in your usual podcast player. “…“Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew 16: 6 NIV Thanks for reading and listening to Walking The New Testament! Doubt is Our Enemy

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for checking out another episode of Walking the New Testament! Matthew 17 was another difficult one for me. There’s some really deep things going on in this chapter, but we’re going to focus on just one thing; Jesus explaining why the disciples “couldn’t” cast out a demon. Again, don’t forget you can subscribe to WTNT on Spotify, iTunes, and pretty much any podcast app/player out there now, if that is more convenient for you. “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Matthew 17: 17 NIV “…if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17: 20 NIV Thanks for reading and listening to Walking The New Testament! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Don't Let Human Rules Become Religious Dogma!

Greetings! Thank you for checking out another episode of WTNT! This week we’ll take a peek at how easy it is for something made up by people (churches, governments, family) can turn into a “religious” act that has nothing to do with being a Christian or follower of The Way. “Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules. vs 3-9 NIV Thanks for reading and listening to Walking The New Testament! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. You Give Them Something...

Hello and thank you for checking out another episode of WTNT! Today I’m planning to take a look at one thing that is hardly ever mentioned about the feeding of the multitudes. Don’t forget, if it is more convenient for you, you can subscribe to WTNT on Spotify, or iTunes. Just search for “Walking the New Testament” and you should be able to find it. “…They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.” vs 16 NIV Thanks for reading and listening to Walking The New Testament! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. This is a public episode. Blind and Deaf

Greetings! Thank you for checking out another episode of WTNT. Today we’ll take a peek at what Jesus had to say about those who hear and see everything going on around us, miracles, calamities, and the like, and yet still just don’t get it. Don’t forget you can subscribe to WTNT on Spotify or iTunes if it’s more convenient for you. Just search for “Walking the New Testament” and you will find it. I hope you will find this episode beneficial. There is a lot going on in Matthew 13 so it would be impossible to cover all of it in one short episode, but Mark, Luke, and John, also cover a lot of the same topics so we will definitely get to explore some of the other things going on during the incredible ministry of Jesus. Stay tuned! This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heartsand turn, and I would heal them.” vs 13-16 NIV “…Where then did this man get all these things?” And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own home.” vs 56-57 NIV Thanks for reading and listening to Walking The New Testament!
