We conclude our series on Rich Work Versus Poor Work, inspired by the teachings of Watchmaidens’ Ministry International. Are we truly living the life of Christ, or are we just performing for an audience? Welcome back to the Watchmaidens Youth Podcast. In this episode, titled "Poor Work Defined," we continue our journey through the book The Rich Work and the Poor Work to examine what it truly means to serve effectively in our daily lives. We explore the sobering reality that the quality of our lives is directly proportional to our attitude toward God's work. While many of us may feel spiritually fervent, we often struggle with the physical, financial, and health translations of our faith because we have imbibed poor work ethics. We define poor work as any endeavour, no matter how profitable, that is detrimental to the spiritual and mental well-being of humanity. Drawing from our anchor verse, 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 (KJV), we discuss the responsibility of being "living epistles" read by all. Through a personal "confession" regarding a simple lack of consideration for others, we illustrate how our unconscious actions can contaminate the lives of those who follow us.
