Descripción

We're all about coincidental patterns here at the Tavern, and Elves have been enjoying this batches Happy Hour it seems. Today I bring an old friend but new DnD player on to talk about her experiences with the game; from when she was thrown into a home game due to proximity, to now where she's using the game to reconnect with family. Her character Rina is a wonderful mashup of Alanna of Trebond (from Tamora Pierce's book series) and Regina Mills (from Once Upon a Time). We enjoy a glass (or two...) of wine, so sit back and join us for another episode! Cheers!

Episode 7 - The Mastermind Rogue

(Bit-Late) Halloween/Spooky Season episode: One great thing about D&D is that it brings people together even across great distances; on today's Episode of We Met in a Tavern we do just that as I'm joined by my latest and first international guest, Luke Piechowski. You may know him as @ArcaneKeeper on instagram; he's a master-storyteller, role-player, and lore-keeper for Call of Cthulhu.  In this episode we discuss his Tiefling Mastermind Rogue Mordai, their origins & best story beats; as well as dive into both Call of Cthulu & Vampire the Masquerade as wonderful RPG systems, especially for those who really lean into the RP or Social aspects of games, and also like the 'spooky' aesthetic. I throughly enjoyed sharing a glass of cider & discussing all of the above and more with Luke, and I think this quote sums it up best, Cheers! "You can't save the world if you don't look cute" - LP
