Descripción

In today’s episode, Scott take the mic solo diving into the practice of taking a step back and realizing you as a person with entire life are bigger than any singular problem, no matter how big it may seem in the moment. One of the biggest problems we face as a society is our inability to face our problems on our own. Many people when a problem initially occurs, immediately run to their support system to validate their feelings on the matter. This causes us to scale our problems into much bigger ones before we’re even able to process them on our own to determine the true severity. Instead we tend to only share our side of the story with our support system bringing us to a point of no return.

Episode #78: Heat

In today’s episode, Scott breaks down a common saying “If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen”. This is a common saying that is sometimes misunderstood. In today’s climate people are too hasty to let their emotions get the best of them without really taking a step back to figure out what is truly upsetting them. A lot of the time people are either doing something they aren’t skilled at or don’t have a passion for, in many sustains it’s a combination of both. Too many people take jobs doing things that may have a monetary value they strive for but isn’t the right fit for them and over time this will chip away at your mental health. Until one day we become overwhelmed and snap. We can easily avoid this by first finding what we are good at and then figuring out how we can apply this to something we enjoy.
