Descripción

Most people spend years chasing symptoms.  The fatigue. The brain fog. The inflammation that never fully settles. The recovery that takes longer than it should. And no matter what they try, something still feels off.  What if all of it is pointing to the same place?  In this special Showcase edition of Wellness Wednesday, we go deeper than we ever have before. We are talking about what is actually happening inside your cells and why three biological pathways, NRF2, NRF1 and NAD+, are the foundation of how you feel every single day.  Joining us for this conversation is Dr. Nancy, a Doctor of Pharmacy with advanced degrees in biochemistry and pharmacology and a formulator on the LifeVantage Science Advisory Board. She has spent decades studying nutrigenomics and has a rare ability to take complex science and make it feel simple, relevant and actionable for everyday people.  This one is not your typical wellness conversation. This is the science most people never hear outside of a research lab, explained in a way that will genuinely change how you think about your health.  In this episode you will learn:  What NRF2 is and why it is considered the master regulator of your body's internal defense system  How NRF2 activation turns on your body's own antioxidant production including glutathione, superoxide dismutase and catalase rather than just adding antioxidants from the outside  What oxidative stress actually is, why it builds up, and how it connects to inflammation, aging and the way you feel daily  What NRF1 does for your mitochondria and why mitochondrial health is at the root of chronic fatigue and low energy  Why NAD+ declines with age and what that means for your metabolism, your recovery, your mental clarity and your long-term cellular repair  What happens when you support all three pathways together and why addressing them individually gives you a completely different result than supporting them as a system  Why so many people are doing everything right on the surface and still not feeling their best, and what is actually missing at the cellular level  How nutrigenomics is changing the way scientists and practitioners understand wellness, aging and what the body is capable of when it is properly supported  Why fixing the cell is not about doing more but about going upstream to where every symptom actually begins  About our guest:  We are joined by Dr. Nancy, a Doctor of Pharmacy with expertise in biochemistry, pharmacology and nutrigenomics. She serves as a formulator on the LifeVantage Science Advisory Board and brings decades of experience in human and veterinary nutritional science to her work. Her mission is to help people understand how to support their body at the cellular level so they can feel their best and age with strength and clarity.  Resources mentioned in this episode:  * Protandim NRF2 Synergizer by LifeVantage  * Protandim NRF1 Synergizer by LifeVantage  * NAD Synergizer by LifeVantage  * LifeVantage Science and Research Library available at lifevantage.com  You can listen to all recordings via audio by visiting this link: * https://biohackandactivate.com/activationpodcast [https://biohackandactivate.com/activationpodcast] You can also find us on Apple Podcasts here: * https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/wellness-wednesday-activation-podcast/id1860715006 [https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/wellness-wednesday-activation-podcast/id1860715006] And on Spotify here: * https://open.spotify.com/show/6wDumT9yTsCzNWD9LxzeIm [https://open.spotify.com/show/6wDumT9yTsCzNWD9LxzeIm] We release new episodes every week, so there is always fresh content to guide you on your wellness journey.
