Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony, gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish.  Father Anthony is joined by his guest Alice Babij (Bobby) today.  Father greets everyone and they briefly chat about the need to know the saints, read about them and see their humanity.  After prayer, Father talks about the life of St. Jane de Chantel, who’s official feast day is August 12th but was honored on August 21st in traditional liturgical calendar.  He reads from her writings as he continues to emphasize the need for saints in today’s time.  After a break, Father welcomes back Alice Babij (Bobby) who introduces the book “The Chaplet of St. Michael”, by Rev Scott Haynes.  The book explores the saint’s chaplet, known as the Rosary of the Angels.  It honors St. Michael and the nine Angelic Choirs.  It was approved and indulgenced by the venerable Pope Pius IX in 1851.  Those who pray this chaplet have an escort of nine angels and daily prayer of this chaplet delivers his continual assistance and delivery from purgatory.  The book is available at priestlypress.com.   St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish [https://ststanschurch.org/] priestlypress.com [http://priestlypress.com]

Episode #4896 Highlights of Bishop Mutsaerts’ Open Letter to Leo XIV

Father Anthony with Tony and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish. Episode #4895 Confronting Modernism This Day

Father Koys takes us on another “brain wrinkling” walk as he discusses the importance of educating young Catholics on the numerous heresies of the Church and how to confront them in our modern day. Father Koys dives in particular to the Heresy of Modernism and the challenge of explaining the negative part of Modernism to today’s youth. He explains Modernism as matter of Novelty vs Tradition, novelty comes and goes but tradition is timeless, both new and old. Father Anthony with Cristina and Tony regroup today after the weekend to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish.  Father greets everyone and chats briefly about viewing the movie, A Great Day.  He then focuses on the challenges of living a Godly life and refers to the readings from Sunday.  He discusses the readings and unpacks them and their application to our lives. Episode #4893 Welcome and Promote the Holy Spirit

It’s Monday and Lauretta’s scheduled quest, Alex Zuko was unable to join us today but we will reschedule him for a later date.  Lauretta greets everyone and gives a shout out to the prayer warriors reminding us all that ongoing prayer is necessary asking for continuous prayers for Jimmy Lai and for promoting of the Holy Spirit.  Today Lauretta takes the opportunity to promote the Holy Spirit, “Veni Creator Spiritus”. She discusses her trip to Italy and her time with the Oblates of the Holy Spirit in Lucca Italy.  Lauretta talks about how her faith was developed early on as her family were devout Catholics and prayer was part of their daily life.  As we all know, Lauretta is a strong promoter of the Holy Spirit. She asks us to find the novena, Pentecost Novena, prayer to the Holy Spirit and pray it daily.
