Broadcast & Technical Discussion With Anton Kapela!

I had the opportunity to talk over Zoom with Anton Kapela, owner of K03IM-D, an ATSC 1.0 TV station broadcasting well over a dozen high quality channels, including many in 4K, by heavily fine-tuning video codecs like HEVC. In addition, Anton Kapela has built innovative networking solutions throughout his career, and has worked for major Internet infrastructure companies like Cloudflare. As CTO and co-founder of EdgeMicro, he explored the technical limitations of Internet architecture through edge networking. He also co-engineered and built the lowest-latency microwave relay network between Chicago and New York for high-frequency trading clients. Anton's research has also lead to the creation of a U.S. patent focused on mobility networking.
