Episode 3-Validating the Market

This episode is all about validating the market and ensuring your idea is going to work! No one wants to invest time, effort, and money into creating something that's not going to sell. So, we talk about how to do some research to see if your idea is viable. I highly recommend Pat Flynn's book, "Will it Fly?" Head over to Amazon and get your own copy! this book outlines the exact steps you need to take to test your business idea before you invest too much effort. In addition to testing the market, we talk about setting up the business. Choose which type is best for you: sole proprietor, partnership, or corporation. Be sure to check your state and local laws for establishing a business for specific info! Folks, this is something you want to get RIGHT from the beginning. Then, I talk a bit about packaging your services/offerings and how to price them. Pricing is super subjective, but there are ways to go about researching how much you should be charging. Start by looking at your competitors.
