You Are Not Alone - Your Guide to Mental Wellness Podcast
In this episode, Dr. Loretta Billoups and Dr. Rolinda Shaw discuss the many challenges Black women experience, including intimate partner violence, generational trauma and systemic oppression. Finding ways to overcome these challenges can be different for each person, since there is no “one size fits all” approach in mental health. You’ll find out how untreated psychological issues can lead to chronic physical conditions, such as high blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.
