On this, episode, we share Ebonie's cancer journey, and here's what she has to say ---- "From a young age, I have faced a series of diagnoses that profoundly shaped my path. At age nine, I experienced precocious puberty, which is when my menstrual cycle begins before the age of ten. Then, at thirteen, I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and began to have ovarian cysts by high school; by nineteen, it was endometriosis; at thirty-three, Lupus; and at forty-one, breast cancer, though its presence was felt long before. Over time, I faced eight diagnoses, each adding complexity to my life’s tapestry. These challenges, from girlhood to womanhood, left me grappling with dysfunction, hidden struggles, deep-seated anger, and silent frustration. I longed for normalcy, mistakenly believing it was the reality for all other young girls and women. I've since realized the inaccuracy and trap of that mindset, understanding that many others suffer silently in the web of shame, loneliness, and isolation."
