Descripción

Ed's contrasting childhood led him on a seesaw of deconstructed life adventures. From straight A's to losing his brother and almost himself to drugs. Ed's life views were challenged by combining psychotherapy and psychedelics opening, not only himself, but a world of possibilities. From 6 years in China before hitting a personal rock bottom to becoming fluent in the language and then being the interpreter for the British embassy. Though impressive, his climb back to the top was met with crippling social anxiety and medication. A change of heart moved him from a government desk job to lucrative remote online work, where he traded addressing diplomats in conference halls for loose getaways in Vegas and Champagne at the front of the plane. At this point, the only thing slowing Ed down was 3.5 years in a Japanese monastery. This story has it all, as it showcases the true example of human introspection and what can be achieved and overcome because of it. I will be sharing my reflections after the podcast but until then, sit back and enjoy the path of Ed Barton. @edbarton.coach www.youtube.com/@thesocialfreedomcoach [https://www.youtube.com/@thesocialfreedomcoach] curated by Taylor Jardine @plumb_planes_collective www.plumbplanes.com [http://www.plumbplanes.com]

episode The Stories of Matthew Allwood artwork

The Stories of Matthew Allwood

Matt's indigenous roots and growing up in the country, gave him a deep appreciation and connection to the land. From leaving home at 12 to becoming a professional footballer, Matt had the skills but it was the spotlight that brought out his wild side. The decision was made for him and his contract was terminated. Through accountability and some extra time in New Zealand he got himself back on track. Matt eventually changed career lanes and spent the next number of years supporting young Aboriginal boys, both on the East Coast and up in the Kimberley. During this time up North he proved himself worthy to secure a spot on the TV show "Alone" which ultimately confirmed what was most important in his life. his short return to footy landed him not only in hospital, but with a Vertebra being surgically removed and a cancer diagnosis. Matt's story is a testament to how one man's strength can bring you back from a place most couldn't even comprehend. I'll be sharing my reflections after the podcast but until then, sit back and enjoy the adventures of Matt Allwood. @burntriverproject for all other information about this podcast and the work I do in the mental health field head over to www.plumbplanes.com [http://plumbplanes.com] @plumb_planes_collective on Instagram or Plumb Planes Collective on YouTube.

The Stories of Marieke Bresseleers

From a child standing out in a small Belgian town, to stepping onto stages around the world. Marieke's life has reflected both her introvert and performer spirit. She nurtured her gifts early with structure and discipline, but the cracks started to appear when she found herself crossing lines she never thought she'd cross. From overcoming addiction, domestic violence and fighting for justice in a court case lasting 4 years. She found strength in removing the inner victim and becoming the sovereign of her own destiny. This is a powerful story of survival and return. I will be sharing my reflections after the podcast but until then sit back and enjoy the journey of Marieke Bresseleers. @little_bloody_marie for all other information about this podcast and the work i do in the mental health field head over to plumbplanes.com [http://plumbplanes.com] @plumb_planes_collective on Instagram or Plumb Planes Collective on YouTube.

The Stories of Kate Liston-Mills

Kate's gift of interpersonal connection sparks like a summer storm. Her early years of barefoot bush education and social isolation showed her how to create and care for country. A near-death experience in her early life turned into a true dark night of the soul surrendering. Her endless perseverance and inner recalibration paved the way for her and the world, to connect to the artist within. From her mind to her heart, this story is a true testament to life on the other side. I will be sharing my reflections after the podcast. episode The Stories of James artwork

The Stories of James

James' determined and caring spirit lights every path that he walks. He had to learn to survive from an early age, navigating the most unstable of foundations. He wore masks like armor, blended like a chameleon and rode the lightning just to get a buzz. Fortunately, every hero has their moment and I would say This is the greatest comeback story I've heard and one I'm proud to share. I will be offering my reflections at the end of the podcast but until then, sit back and enjoy the heroic journey of James. @riseabovethejourney curated by Taylor Jardine @plumb_planes_collective www.plumbplanes.com [http://www.plumbplanes.com] James has dedicated his life to helping others and offers his wisdom and knowledge to people all around the world.
