Here, a memory thief risks it all for that impossible dream yet struggles with the old ghosts he promised to leave behind. A sheriff of nothing struggles to live up to the legacy of her mentor. A washed-up ex-mobster peddles impossible dreams. And a young girl bears the burdens of the destitute. And it is here, in this city of endless night, where a monster is being created in real time.
