In 1919, the United States experienced what is now called “Red Summer” where a series of violent riots erupted across the country, predominantly against Black citizens. In 1981, Glenna 'Sue' Sharp, her son John Sharp, and his friend Dana Wingate were found murdered inside their cabin in Keddie, California. Sue's daughter Tina went missing and her remains were found 3 years later. There were other children asleep in the cabin at the time of the murders who were not harmed. This quadruple homicide is still unsolved today.
