tarte debacle(s)

influencer marketing gone wrong. for a lot of black and brown content creators, it is typical to be underpaid or dismissed by larger brands. with the most recent controversy, tarte cosmetics, does it again, where their chosen black creators were excluded from the itinerary and replaced by more black creators, who were chosen last minute. it was blown out of proportion via social media with black creators holding the fall when it was tarte's wrongdoing.

my first corporate job (w chaotic in depth details)

this is about my first corporate experience from hell like i have gained so much insight from it. with me being a recent grad, jobs will take advantage and try to pump out so much work from you with such little pay, so this is that type of story. i will definitely touch base on a different ep on how i maneuvered, but this ep is a tell all with red flags to look out for within that new job. enjoy!

this may come to a surprise to some people, but this is a nice intro into how everyone needs a third space. i found this term after college, but it made so much sense why i missed college life because of the accessibility to third spaces. learn what they are and how this can definitely help in finding a sense of community. for any newbie to a city, def look into local third spaces, and i hope this has been helpful

this episode is about understanding your anxiety and how to mindfully keep it at bay. with evidence based research, unf*ck your brain by dr. faith g harper, is a book, i purchased when i was going through it. i break down her tips and helpful practices with anxiety, so that it's more accessible. it's grad season aka peak anxiety season, and it's hard to be in a positive direction when you have no idea what that looks like. hope this helps!
