The Trail after my NAME

I trekked the ancient trail in Chhukha which only a few knew about its existence and significance. The trial played a pivotal role until the 1950s. That trail that our forefathers forged. This less-trodden yet impressive forest trail was once the busy route for the people of Chhukha, Haa, and Paro. The trek connects the southern plains to the western valley. Until 2023, the trail had no name until Denkars Getaway, the popular travel blogger hit the trail!

PANDEMIC BLESSINGS: The Rise of Domestic Tourism in Bhutan

From scenery, music, culture, people, art and architecture to its rich and storied heritage, all aspects of Bhutan pleasantly surprise traveller from across the globe (NO DOUBT). Bhutan is a place that captivates a traveller with its beauty but ironically the Beautiful kingdom was left untrodden and travelled less but Bhutanese.  Pandemic came to rescue the travel pattern for the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan. Covid crisis boosted domestic tourism in Bhutan.

REALIZNG MY PURPOSE OF LIFE- The defining moments...

The defining moment came when I was 21. I had just completed my undergraduate studies and landed a job as English teacher in Thailand. There, I got opportunity to teach in a Women Prison. One day, an inmate asked me ‘Teacher how is the world outside?’. It struck me deeply and hunted me. And it prompted me to gradually begin to cherish things I has taken for granted- the FREEDOM to be OUTDOORS, to EXPLORE, to TRAVEL, to MEET people, and to EXPERIENCE life at my sweet will. This is how it all began…
